Psychotherapy
Building a family isn’t always straightforward, and when the journey takes unexpected turns, it can feel overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally exhausting. I’m here to help.
While I am trained as a general psychotherapist, I primarily work with fertility patients who are navigating various elements of assisted family building, including:
Unexplained infertility and specific diagnoses
Processing grief and loss (genetic grief) and fertility-related trauma
Couples counseling
Support through third-party reproduction/donor conception (egg/sperm/embryo donation, surrogacy)
Decision to live child-free
Counseling for single-family building/parenting
Counseling for LGBTQ+ family building/parenting
Counseling for pregnancy and parenting after A.R.T. (including talking to your kids about donor conception)
Third-party psychoeducational counseling and report writing (directed and non-directed, often clinic required)
FAQs
-
I am licensed in both California and Washington state and work remotely via telehealth.

While I don’t take insurance, I can offer a super bill that clients can submit to their insurance, if their insurance accepts out of network mental health providers. I can’t guarantee insurance coverage and encourage clients to speak directly to their insurance provider for information related to coverage.

I provide third party consultations for intended parents/recipients pursuing directed and non-directed arrangements. I consider my consultations to be psycho-educational rather than evaluative and am not conducting non-directed egg donor evaluations or surrogate evaluations. My consultations include a report for the fertility clinic if needed.
